Nemo

Brussells 20-21st February 2010

Overview

After Robins excellent organisational skills last year I have taken the reins for another weekend in Brussels with a dive in the world’s deepest pool.  After the success of 2009’s ADC trip to Nemo in Brussels, we are off again!! The trip will commence with the 07.57 train from St. Pancras to Brussels, arriving around 11am. We’ll check into the hotel and then head off to Nemo for a 3pm dive. After that back to the hotel with a bit of relaxation before hitting the town for some food and a beer. I will also be looking at some local bars and night clubs for those that fancy dancing the night away!!! The following morning will be a look around the beautiful city of Brussels before we jump on a train to head back to the UK at about 13:59.

Nemo is the world’s deepest swimming pool (33m) and is a unique diving experience

Accommodation

There are a number of B&Bs in the area. When we have a better idea of the number of people that want accommodation, we’ll work out what’s best.

Air & Nitrox

Tanks are provided by Nemo

Equipment and equipment hire

All you need to bring to Nemo are your mask and snorkel.  You can also bring full foot fins if you have them (not one’s with boots) as well as air integrated computers.  All other equipment is provided by Nemo.  Rash Vests are allowed, but no wetsuits (the water is “quite warm”!)

Costs

Train tickets will be a min of £67 per head return and the later left, the more likely prices will go up I have taken a quote for 20 but it is a live system so prices will go up or may even be sold out the later it is left.

Hotel will be approx. £30 per head.

Nemo is approx. £15

Other cash needed for local transport (Tram/Tube) as well as for Saturday night out
